I am finally updating my blog a bit. I just got back from California, which was fabulous but I did miss Blake, and I am now getting back into the groove of things out here in TN. Just before we left to go to Cali, me and Blake took the girls to see President Andrew Jackson's plantation at the Hermitage. It was a pretty informative historical experience that could have lasted a lot longer if we didn't have princess #2, and #3 with us, but that's all right, it was nice to go somewhere with the whole fam!! We took this little buggy ride around his plantation and saw parts of where the slaves used to live and where the crops were grown, just a little part though. His plantation included a total of 1000 acres, it was huge. The mansion house was pretty nice as well, it seemed as though it was a typical southern mansion back in Jackson's time. From the little that I can remember from the tour, it seemed as though President J. was a good man, but yet he may have had a little corruption in his life due to politics, only expected. All in all, it was a good day with the family.

Looks fun and educational. You have so much history at your fingertips out there. BTW, Gayle DuBravac is my friend who lives in Nashville. I think that's who I told you about before. I was getting my friends mixed up. She was just here for a visit. I took some pics. I'll forward to you so you can see what she looks like.

I stumbled onto your blog and thought I would say hi. I am Dan Claunch's wife, Jen. He and Blake worked together at EIRMC. How is life as a CRNA students wife? Dan is really liking his program and looking forward to starting some clinicals next semester. So far, it hasn't been as awful (for me anyway) as I thought it was going to be. Hope you are enjoying Tennessee. Your girls are so cute!
