As I was on my way to the grocery store....

.... I ran into this! If you have watched the news lately you might all ready be aware that Nashville has had some serious rain this last weekend. In most areas it averaged around 14 inches, but in some we got up to 18 inches, INSANE! We live on the bottom floor, but lucky for us we are on top of a hill. Right behind us, though, is a creek that could now be considered a lake. There has been a few deaths, and a lot of damage, complete chaos! A few of the main Interstates were closed off closer to down-town. For a while there it felt like the rain would never stop, it just kept getting worse and worse, but luckily today, the sun is shining. And, hopefully for those that were extremely affected by this disaster, there is a sense of peace over them. I feel sorry for those that have lost their loved ones, and willing to help those that their houses aren't quite normal right now.

This is the creek behind our complex.

The lights are normally for a soccer field, that is now drowning in water. Where are the goal posts? oh that's right, they are covered in that mucky water.

I'm so glad you guys are ok. I was worried that you might be flooded since you are on the bottom floor.
